i have been involved in artistic endeavors for as long as i can remember. what started out as a love for crayons, construction paper and scissors turned to pencil, ink, paint and paper or canvas. then i was introduced to the camera.

i have always called my artwork idealistic over the concept of realism. instead of re-creating images that looked exactly like they did in front of me, i chose to create things how they appeared to me.

then the camera became the medium that best expressed what i wanted to create. it allows me to make my own images instead of re-creating what has already been done. i want to push the boundaries and levels of creativity. i want to be posed with challenges that make me think out of the box. i want to create bright, colorful, vibrant and energetic images that capture the essence of what is before me; whether it be landscape, architecture or portrait. i want to capture that moment in time and savor it.
